# Critical Result Reports

### What are Critical Result Reports (CRR)?

Critical Result Reports (CRR) provide an overview of all critical results and their escalation traces. These reports help ensure that critical results are routed correctly, supporting timely intervention and improving patient safety.

### Potential uses of Critical Result Reports (CRR)

* **Troubleshooting of routing rules** – Use the 'Routing Rule Trace' to verify which routing rule was activated and confirm that the critical result was escalated to the correct clinician(s).
* **Escalation efficiency** – Check the 'Escalation History' column to track timestamps for each escalation, including manual interventions, and identify any delays.
* **Turnaround time compliance** – Review the 'Turnaround Time (mins)' column to see how long it took to close critical results and flag any that exceeded the 1-hour threshold.

### How can I download these Critical Result Reports (CRR)?

Anyone with the user role, **'Critical Result Reports'** can simply log into Rooster and generate the report.

{% hint style="warning" %}
It is recommended to download no more than one month’s worth of critical results at a time due to the large file size of CRR.
