Creating Monthly Rosters

Monthly rosters are tables of assignments, typically used for rostering clinicians. They can be linked to routing rules, to ensure a clinician on call receives relevant the critical alerts. They are also useful as references during tasks like making referrals, such as for blue letter referrals.

Step 1: Navigate to Monthly Rosters

  1. Go to Roster in the main navigation

  2. Select Monthly Rosters from the dropdown

Select 'Monthly Rosters'

Step 2: Create New Roster

  1. Click '+ Create New Roster'

Select '+ Create New Roster' to add new roster
  1. On the popup, select your department, roster type and name your roster.

  2. Choose a roster type:

  • On-Call Roster: Allows you to assign on-call duties to doctors on a rotating basis.

  • Team Roster: Allows you to schedule your doctors according to teams or groups, typically based on specialties and ward coverage.

  • Leave Roster: Allows you to schedule leave dates for doctors.

  1. Click 'Create'

After you have selected 'Create' , you can begin creating either of the three roster types:

Department secretaries / rostering admins must be assigned the 'Superuser' role to create roster templates (e.g., add new columns). Follow the guide here to grant them access.
