Create Broadcast Groups and Message Templates to quickly send notifications and updates to specific teams or departments.

Creating groups

Step 1: Go to Broadcast Groups

Under Messaging in the navigation bar, select 'Broadcast Groups'.

Step 2: Create Broadcast Group

1. Click 'Add New Broadcast Group'.

2. On the popup, enter a name and select one or more contacts to add to the group.

Creating message templates

Templates let you broadcast frequently-used messages quickly.

Step 1: Go to Message Templates

Under Messaging in the navigation bar, select 'Message Templates'.

Step 2: Create template

1. Click 'Add New Message Template'.

2. On the popup, enter a template name and message.

• Include your own text placeholders when formatting template messages, e.g. Code XXX.

• Include your preferred response from the recipient if any, e.g. 'Reply 1 to acknowledge.'

Example: How to use placeholders in templates

Placeholders can be used for information that is not fixed, like recipient names, ward locations, code types, and more. For example:

• Ward location is not fixed: Fire at Wd XX - evac in progress. For exercise info only - Press 1 to acknowledge

• Code type is not fixed: Code XXX activated for Ward A Bed B @ time is incorrect. Kindly do not respond to the activation. Please respond back to this message as a form of acknowledgement.
