This guide will describe the structure and main actions required from end user (e.g Doctors) on the critical message

What numbers will I receive SMSes from?

  • For NHG Production: 75126

  • For NHG UAT (Testing): 65 83184450

  • For NUHS Production: 70140

  • For NUHS UAT (Testing): 65 83382549

How long do I have before my response will be ignored?

  • 1 hour OR until manual intervention by the contact centre has started

What will I see in incoming messages?

  • You will see something like this:

What can I respond to incoming messages?

  • If you reply "1", it will be logged in Rooster that the critical result belongs to your patient and that you have acknowledged the critical result notification

  • If you reply "2", it will be logged in Rooster that the critical result does not belong to your patient but you have acknowledged the critical result notification

  • If you reply "3", it will be logged in Rooster that the critical result does not belong to your patient but you are not acknowledging the critical result notification

  • If you reply anything else, it will be logged in Rooster that the critical result does not belong to your patient but you are not acknowledging the critical result notification

I received multiple critical result messages. How is my response received?

  • Replies will map to cases sequentially. Eg. Your first reply will map to the first SMS you receive, the second reply will map to the second SMS you receive, etc.

I received a message after responding. Is this expected?

  • Yes, the reply is to inform you of which case you have replied to
