What are Test Codes ?

Test codes are unique identifiers for medical tests. They help clinicians and lab staff quickly manage tests, reducing errors and improving patient care efficiency.

Creating a new Test Code

  1. Navigate to 'Clinical' and click on 'Test Code Config' from the dropdown list

  1. Click on '+ Create New Test Code' and fill in the corresponding fields appropriately by inputting the lab, name, and code. Click 'Create' once you have filled up the respective fields.

Editing Test Code Name

  1. Search for the particular test code, and edit the test code name accordingly

If an incorrect value was entered in the 'Code' or 'Lab' field, it cannot be edited. These fields are fixed codesets from the lab systems. To correct the mistake, youโ€™ll need to disable the incorrect test code and create a new one with the correct details.
