Accessing Institution Settings

To access institution settings, click on the 'Institution Settings' link at the top right-hand corner. Then click on the setting that you wish to view or modify. Institution settings is only accessible to users with the 'Superuser' role. This function allows you to manage the following:

Directory Codesets

Directory codesets let you manage filter options on the Directory page and define dropdown lists for various fields. For instance, you can customise the options available for the "Designation" field when adding or updating a contact in the Directory.

For example, if your institution introduces a new division, you can go to Directory Codesets โ†’ Divisions to create or edit divisions as needed. Below is an example of how this works:

Similarly, you can modify other codesets on the Directory page such as Section, Sub-sections, Designation, Location.

Note: These fields will only affect the options visible on the Directory page

Department Codesets

You can add new department codesets here. These codesets impact Rooster across multiple pages. Once added, the new department codesets will appear on:

  • Daily Roster Page

  • Monthly Roster Page

  • Directory

  • Routing Rules

Specialties

To add dropdown list options for the 'Specialties' field when creating 'Routing Rules', simply click 'Add New Specialty'.

To edit or disable specialty name, click on the three dots on the row of the specialty you wish to edit / disable. Disabled specialties will not appear as an option on the dropdown list on the 'Routing Rules' and 'Result Filters' page.

Locations

To add dropdown list options for the 'Locations' field when creating 'Routing Rules' and 'Result Filters', simply click 'Add New Location.'

To edit or disable specialties, click on the three dots on the row of the specialty you wish to edit/disable. Disabled locations will not appear as an option on the dropdown list on the 'Routing Rules' and 'Result Filters' page.

Institution Configuration

This allows you to view which emails domains have been auto provisioned for access to Rooster as "End-User Read Only" user role. If a user has the email address under these 'Whitelisted domains' , they would have access to Rooster by default.
