This page will guide you on how to download SMS Usage reports off Rooster

What are SMS Reports?

SMS Reports give you an overview of the count of Inbound/Outbound/Unknown SMS types. You can view this data per institution and cluster level.

Potential uses of SMS Reports

• For the finance team to verify the spendings on how many critical SMS were sent out by the institution or cluster.

• For a superuser to get an overview of how many critical SMS are triggered in UAT and Production

How can I download these SMS Reports?

Users with the ‘SMS report’ role will now be able to download these reports on SMS usage on institution and cluster level

1. To download these reports, go to Settings > Reports > Generate Report > Select ‘SMS Usage’ under report type

Do note that to calculate the cost of all SMS triggered, you will need to download a report on UAT and Production environment.

Understanding the fields in the SMS Reports

• Institution – Shows SMS usage by institution. “Unknown SMS” refers to incoming SMSes to the Rooster number that do not match any active critical/unexpected result or broadcast message awaiting response.

• Incoming SMS – SMS sent to the Rooster number.

• Outgoing SMS – SMS sent by Rooster for critical result escalations.
